SCHOOL LIFE THREATENING TO GAYS?

HATE CRIME HOAX!

Homosexual Activists Create a Crisis for Political Gain

SAFE ZONES

It is high time the moral framework of our society squarely confronts the deceptive propaganda that is being spread throughout our community regarding school safety for gay teens.

The implication that an epidemic of crime is being perpetrated against people because of their sexual "orientation" is simply a ploy to gain sympathy and political momentum for the gay right movement.

The facts are that there is NO epidemic of crime going on or a need for so-called school "safe zones" for fanatical organizations such as (PFFLG) Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbian and Gays, to be concerned about. CERTAINLY NOT AN ISSUE FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS TO BE INVOLVED WITH AT THE EXPENSE OF TAXPAYER MONEY! Factious statements by anonymous students and fabricated statistics by bias gay organizations such as GLSEN are ridiculous, lack creditability, and substantiate undocumented irresponsible reporting on behalf of the news media.

Any crime committed in the State of Wisconsin, which is recorded under the category of an aggravated assault, is documented by the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice Assistance. A brief definition of such a crime would be to intend to do bodily harm with a weapon, knife, broken bottle, or cutting material, fire-arm, club, brick or hand, feet, fist etc. if broken bones or stitches occur.

During 1997 and 1998, a total of 14,734 of these offenses were recorded in Wisconsin of which only 1 was listed against a person because of his/her sexual orientation at school. Does this sound like an epidemic? In fact, the Department does not even list a category for aggravated assaults against homosexuals at school because experience has not substantiated the need for such a listing. This fact alone proves the point.

There has never been a homicide recorded in Wisconsin because of a person’s sexual orientation.
So who is being threatened? Vincent Schiraloli, Director of the Washington D.C. based Justice Policy Institute has stated that "Students have a far greater risk of being killed by lightening than murdered at school. Does this sound like an epidemic?

Hate Crime Hoax:

The FBI began collecting data on the commission of hate crimes in 1990, and over the last eight years, hate crimes against homosexuals increased in only one year – 1997. Out of more than 18,000 homicides that year, only three were committed based on the victim’s sexual orientation, a number representing less than .0002 percent of the total murders. If one inch represents one homicide, it would take five football fields to represent the 18,000 murders committed in the U.S. in 1997. Only three inches of the total length would represent the number of homosexual homicides based on the victim’s sexual orientation.

Statistics show that most offenses that are listed as "hate crimes" were for low-level offenses such as speech or verbal name calling (someone’s feelings being hurt) what generally would be referred to as "teasing?" Children"teasing" other children for various reasons(not threatening their lives) have always been part of "growing up" in a free society. Censorship of thought and speech belongs in Nazi Germany not the United States.

Reasonable treatment at school for students who refer to themselves as gay is no less important than for heterosexual students. But in a free society it isn’t more important, either. These are children, not mindless robots to be manipulated, deprived of feelings, emotion, thought and free speech. Why is "kidding" someone "you’re so gay," any different than to comment on someone being fat, skinny, tall, short, having a big nose, pimples, freckles, stuttering, a sissy, Catholic, Jewish, Polish, poor or a holly-roller? Where are the "safe zones" for these students?

How do Wisconsin students feel about school violence?

A study in the spring of 1999 in 46 public Wisconsin high schools was administered to 1,336 students by the Wisconsin Youth Risk Behavior Survey (WYRBS) under the direction of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The survey shows that students are more vulnerable to commit suicide, have drugs offered to them, smoking, or not having proper health care, than they are to being harmed (for any reason) at school. For students in grades 9-12, 96% stated they usually or always felt safe from physical harm at school. The same percentages exist for going to or coming from school. This percentage is consistent through all four grades. Only 4% said they felt threatened (not necessarily in school) at some time, because (someone thought) they were gay, lesbian, or bisexual. More students are concerned about being over or underweight, lack of family love and support, or whether teachers care and encourage them, than they are about safety in school.

Most people don’t want homosexual rhetoric discussed in school. A recent Gallup poll surveyed 1,028 people regarding the topics that "should be required" in high school. Only 6% of the respondents said "homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle" should be required teaching in school.

There is certainly no evidence that homosexual teens are disproportionately victimized by violence in Dane County public schools or any other area for that matter. Saying it’s so doesn’t make it so, regardless of gay propaganda groups. All we have to substantiate that such disproportionate victimization occurs is the fabricated claim’s of anonymous students and gay organizations who have a particular axe to grind, a grant to spend, and a burning desire to pollute the minds of our youth.

Any attempt to normalize a lifestyle that throughout history has been considered immoral and not caution young people regarding related health risks is unconscionable.

It is a proven fact that promiscuous sexual activity, which many times accompanies the homosexual lifestyle, poses a far greater risk to ones health than cigarette smoking. School officials and other responsible people who are in a position to influence unknowledgeable young students concerning health risks associated with this lifestyle, and are not doing so, will before long find themselves in the same vulnerable position the tobacco companies have experienced. Legal action may proceed down the "gay referral network" to all individuals that can and will be held responsible!

Legal organizations in the U.S. are currently collecting date with the specific intention of financially assisting AIDS patients recover damages for the economic, physical and emotional damage they have experienced as a result of deliberate irresponsible advice. Buyer beware!
